Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated individual for its Financial Reporting & Consolidations team. This is an individual contributor position and does not have direct reports.

This individual will work a hybrid role at our Windsor Locks, CT location.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Prepare financial reporting analyses for both internal management and RTX World Headquarters.
  • Review program financial submissions and analytical deliverables to validate completeness and accuracy of the reported results. Work closely with the business units and the financial planning team to resolve any issues.
  • Work with our financial systems team to support changes to our financial reporting systems and coordinate with the Collins business units to ensure the updates are implemented properly.
  • Perform special projects (support the accounting for acquisitions and divestitures, perform adhoc analysis, support the implementation of new accounting standards, perform SOX testing)
  • Support the use of CORE process improvement tools to evaluate and improve processes.
  • Must be willing and able to travel 5% of the time

Basic Qualifications:


  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience
    or **an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
    or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage spreadsheets for data analysis

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Prior experience using HFM and HFM SmartView in addition to Microsoft Office Applications
  • Prior experience with public accounting
