Description
Your tasks
- You develop mechanical and mechatronic systems with a focus on manufacturing-friendly design and cost optimization
- You design concepts and develop them to product series maturity for our Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). You support our AMRs throughout the entire product lifecycle
- You contour assemblies and components for AMRs, including chassis systems, drive mechanisms, sensor technology, and safety systems
- You support the creation of validation and testing documents for CE certification based on the Machinery Directive
- You create 3D models, technical drawings, and parts lists for manufacturing and assembly
- You work in an agile, interdisciplinary team consisting of internal and external mechanical, electrical, and software developers
Your profile
- You have completed training as a technician or a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or vehicle technology
- You have experience in designing complex mechatronic products, preferably in the field of automation technology or vehicle technology
- You have advanced knowledge in 3D CAD, as well as experience with PLM systems (Windchill) and FEM simulation
- You have strong mathematical and physical skills related to mobile robotics, AMRs, and AGVs
- You have experience with various manufacturing methods (sheet metal forming, welding, and machining)
