- Provide shift coverage and operational support for all facilities systems, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire, life, and safety.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC, Generators and Power systems.
- Perform equipment rounds, and service requests as directed and in accordance with the company CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Perform emergency repairs as needed.
- Become proficient with operating several building automation and SCADA systems.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Support vendors on preventive maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist site with emergency situations (fire alarms, power outages, environmental spills).
- Comply with all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- *Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient writing & communication skills.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, and power tools.
- Ability to use Windows based computers.
- Ability to read HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and architectural drawings.
- EPA Refrigerant Certification(s) a plus.
- Trade school degree or certificate in mechanical, electrical, or controls disciplines a plus.
- Three years of building operating experience, and data center experience preferred.
- Walking frequently, throughout large facilities.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Climbing stairs and navigating rooftops to access equipment.
- Using ladders and man lifts, working from heights.
