Maintenance Technician at Commercial Real Estate Investment Firm

Location: Seattle, WA

Looking to join a dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician for a commercial real estate investment firm with properties around Redmond and SODO? If you are a whiz at fixing things, providing top-notch customer service, and juggling multiple tasks, then this role could be your calling.

As the Maintenance Technician, your main responsibilities revolve around being the problem-solver, managing work orders, visiting various sites, and ensuring everything runs smoothly in the facilities. From HVAC and electrical work to plumbing repairs and even coordinating tasks like carpentry, painting, and pest control, you'll be the go-to person.

This position comes with a competitive salary, including profit-based bonuses, along with some sweet perks like a company vehicle, cell phone, and a work gear kit (think Carhartts, work vests, and sturdy work boots). You do need to have a clean driving record, be able to pass background checks, and drug tests.

Responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician:

Facilities Maintenance: Handle a variety of tasks from HVAC to plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and pest control.
Troubleshooting: Tackle maintenance issues independently and collaboratively using your problem-solving skills.
Vendor Coordination: Work closely with vendors to ensure repairs are done with the owner's interests in mind.
Emergency Response: Utilize your building systems knowledge to address emergencies effectively.
Work Order Management: Keep a close eye on work orders to ensure accurate and timely information.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on critical facilities systems for optimal performance.
Project Support: Assist in on-site presence for capital projects and tenant improvement efforts.
Tenant and Vendor Relations: Foster positive relationships with tenants and vendors through effective communication.

Qualifications for the Role:

1-2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in mechanical, plumbing, or electrical work.
Experience with material handling and operating lifts.
Proficiency in using work order systems.
Basic knowledge of commercial building components.
Comfortable operating various vehicles and trailers.
All applicants must have a clean driving record and pass background checks and drug screenings.
