Part-Time, Non-Exempt, 10-Month, Category 5


Salary Range:
$20-$25 per hour


Reports to:
Director of Learning Center

Qualifications/Requisites
Part-time/Full-time Position. Bachelor's preferred.

Looking for highly-motivated individuals with excellent project management skills, strong verbal communication, ability to work well with others in a group as well as independently.

Flexibility and adaptability are a must. We are looking for outstanding Christian role models who want to help middle school students achieve their best.


General

Primary Duties

  • Role of the tutor with students:
  • Teach organizational skills
  • Train students to use their student planner and Canvas as a daily tool
  • Teach efficient study skills
  • Notetaking skills, flashcards, study guides, review with teachers
  • Connect students to their teachers during office hours
  • Teach time management and best use of "open" periods
  • Provide accountability to turning in assignments consistently
  • Oneonone and small group tutoring
  • Communicate effectively and timely with parents on a frequent basis
  • Maintain a disciplined learning environment
