Job Description

Our client is seeking candidates for a Sustainment Web Applications Programmer/Analyst role to support a United States Coast Guard client where we are focused on delivering innovative operations and solutions through proven successful methods. This is a key personnel requirement on the task order. The ideal applicant is versatile, with a broad background and demonstrated ability to produce quality work. You must be comfortable in a challenging, collaborative, multi-tasking, dynamic, high-tempo, deadline-intensive environment.

Description of Duties:

The ideal candidate shall perform web/database system improvements and enhancements for existing Safety Information System (SIS) web- based / SQL applications to include but not limited to supporting and maintaining web interfaces
Provides database improvements and maintenance using scripting, database load utilities and stored procedures
Composes, tunes and maintains complex queries
Creates stored procedures exportable to SSRS for report generation
Creates and maintain database dictionaries. Translate and document requirements into technical design
Provides change control and configuration management within the software development life-cycle.
Prepares, updates, and reviews application documentation as required

Education, Experience, and Security Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering Technology or similar discipline
At least six (6) years of computer systems analysis and design, programming and/or systems integration experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust determination
At least four (4) years of successful database programming and management experience
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio ASP/ASP.NET/C#, JSRS Remote Scripting, JavaScript, VBScript, SQL Server Reporting Services and Microsoft SQL experience to include database management, writing of complex queries and creation of stored procedures
Must have completed Cybersecurity Competencies of IAT Level II. CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC or Security+ CE (Minimum) before start date.
It is vital the person filling the role is available to the COR and SIS Branch Chief via MS TEAMS and telephone between the hours of 0700 and 1700 ET, Monday through Friday
