We are hiring an Applications Programmer in Norfolk, VA in a hybrid capacity.


Responsibilities:


  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • May lead and direct the work of others.
  • Applies testfirst practices including Test-Driven Development (TDD) for unit tests and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) for automated acceptance tests.
  • Develops block diagrams and logic flow charts.
  • Translates detailed design into computer software code.
  • Tests, debugs and refines the computer software to produce the required product.
  • Prepares required documentation, including both programlevel and userlevel documentation.
  • Enhances software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
  • Provides technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Up to 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen
