Overview:

We are seeking capable and reliable individuals to join our Summer meals program across Stoneham, Melrose, and Saugus as a transporter for both meals, staff, and potentially youth and their families.

As a transporter in this program, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that nutritious meals are provided to children and families in the community.

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently deliver food orders to customers within designated areas, including Stoneham, Melrose, and Saugus, MA.
Navigate delivery routes using GPS or maps to ensure timely deliveries.
Verify orders for accuracy before delivery and handle payments if necessary.
Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle.
Communicate any delivery issues or concerns to the dispatch team promptly.
Work collaboratively with restaurant staff and fellow delivery drivers to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Reliable vehicle with insurance coverage.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with the Stoneham, Melrose, and Saugus areas is a plus.
Prior experience in food delivery or customer service is preferred but not required.
