Job Summary:

Duties:


  • Review and verify accuracy of billing and coding
  • Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
  • Immediately follow up on unpaid claims
  • Resolve billing discrepancies
  • Maintain patient billing records
  • Utilize medical billing software and electronic health records systems
  • Stay updated on industry changes and compliance regulations
  • Handle all billing related communication to patients

Experience:


  • Previous experience in medical billing
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, coding (ICD10, DRG), and billing processes
  • Knowledge of medical collection practices
  • Familiarity with medical records systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous experience with PIP/Workman's Comp billing
