Dignity Health Medical Group is actively seeking a highly patient-centric physician to serve as a Nocturnist Hospitalist at our St.
Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.180 shifts per year (primary schedule 7 on 7 off) consisting of purely nights (6:00 pm - 6:00 am)
~ Two nocturnists are assigned during these shifts, affording a manageable workload. In addition, there are 2-3 residents/interns in the team. Average admissions 17/night for the whole team.
~ Primary responsibility is on-site adult (admit and cross cover) inpatient care. Magnet hospital - rarely need to transfer a patient out

~ Academic affiliation with Internal Medicine residency program at Creighton University School of Medicine at Phoenix.
~ Cerner EMR links all of our outpatient and inpatient facilities.

~ Closed ICU with 24/7 intensivists; Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure
Completed ACGME Residency training with current ABMS Board Certification
