Key Account Manager Automotive (m/f/w) / Machinery & Plant Engineering / Greater Freiburg Area

Our Client:

Our client is a medium-sized machinery and plant manufacturer for automation and conveyor technology. The company serves the healthcare, automotive, and intralogistics industries. They are currently seeking a technically savvy Key Account Manager for OEM customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring achievement of sales targets for the automotive sector
  • Planning and implementation of innovation management
  • Identification, analysis, and evaluation of market competition
  • Visit planning, request processing, proposal creation, proposal calculation, proposal tracking, and contract negotiation
  • Point of contact for our customers regarding new projects and technologies
  • Identification of customer needs through market analysis and research
  • Independent management of the forecast system (annual/monthly planning)
  • Planning and execution of marketing activities, such as internal and external customer presentations, brochures, videos, etc.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a technical field or equivalent technical training
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical sales within the machinery and plant engineering industry
  • Experience in the automotive (OEM) sector is advantageous
  • Fluent in English, both
