Frederick, MD Corporate R&D Division:

The Postdoctoral Fellowship position prepares individuals for roles of increasing responsibility through a combination of assignments, structured learning, formalized feedback, and mentoring.

Program participants will have the opportunity to interact with senior R&D leaders and participate in various key research initiatives.


The quantum computing postdoctoral position will be based in the CSO Office and corporate R&D organization, and will report to the Sr Staff Scientist, Bioinformatics.

The role will be based in Frederick, MD.

Experience

  • Experience with quantum algorithms and quantum circuits is required.
  • Experience with quantum development platforms and current/nearterm quantum hardware is required.
  • Strong technical and people leadership personality is necessary.
  • Strong desire and motivation to develop a career as a future leader in R&D
  • Ability to manage, plan, and prioritize projects
  • Demonstrated leadership proficiency, learning agility, and adaptability
  • Effective communication skills, especially for presenting scientific results, keeping records, and working collaboratively in a team of scientists are necessary.
