Job Description Summary


The Division of Informatics in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics (DBEI) is seeking a research coordinator to join the computational laboratory of Dr.

Blanca Himes.

This position will provide support for a research project entitled Precision Approaches to Reduce Asthma Disparities with Electronic Health Record Data.

Such services include collecting and analyzing survey data, and contrasting results with those of previous epidemiologic studies.


Job Description:


More detailed job duties include:


Help conduct and analyze surveys of asthma patients; perform preliminary analysis of environmental and epidemiologic data to contrast with survey results; conduct literature reviews and prepare reports for funding agencies; prepare and submit IRB modifications; participate in research meetings; meet with team members to discuss projects; produce tables and data for manuscripts and presentations; provide oversight to temporary student assistants.


Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of survey design and REDCap preferred.
  • Experience with analyzing epidemiologic data preferred.
  • Highlevel report writing and presentation skills preferred.
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team environment required.
