- Lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
- Serve as a technical or functional resource, and aid with audits of performance improvement and patient outcome measures. Monitor and report compliance with policies and procedures.
- Conduct patient assessments, establish therapy treatment goals, and evaluate the progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
- Administer individual and/or group therapy. Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.
- Provide input into hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.
- One or more of the following required:
- Social Worker credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any level accepted.
- Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any level accepted.
- Counselor specializing in Alcohol and Drug Abuse credentialed from the Michigan Certification Board for Addition Professionals (MCBAP) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Psychologist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Psychology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Therapist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any issuing authority accepted.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
