Cypress Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care Residence, a family-owned senior living community, is seeking a dedicated and dependable Part-Time Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher to support our dietary department.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who wants to grow in a supportive, service-focused environment.
Position Overview
As a Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our kitchen and dining services. Your work helps ensure our residents receive high-quality meals and service with dignity and care.
This is a hands-on, active role supporting the culinary team with food service, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport plated meals safely to residents in dining and living areas
- Operate commercial dishwasher to clean dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, equipment, and work areas
- Assist cook with basic food preparation (ingredients, desserts, serving items)
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control policies
- Support culinary team with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum 3 months of experience in food service, hospitality, or related field (preferred)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Availability within kitchen operating hours: 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM

- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and safety procedures
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Successful completion of Level II Background Screening
- Current TB test required upon hire
- Open availability to meet scheduling needs
