Medical Facilities of America is seeking a Regional Director of Reimbursement (RN) to support several of our centers. The locations this position would cover centers in Raleigh to Burlington, North Carolina areas.

This position provides extensive training, analysis and advice to the centers, while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and Company policies regarding MDS patient assessment process, state case mix and Medicare prospective payment systems.

In addition, this position provides consultation, training and support for the patient assessment process and Medicare and state case mix payment system.

This position also monitors, consults, and makes effective recommendations for changes and modifications to existing center processes, systems, policies, and practices which promote efficient, effective, and accurate patient assessment and Medicaid / Medicare payment.

They also work with center, regional, and department teams to coordinate training for center team members on MDS, documentation, state case-mix and Medicare payment systems including consolidated billing.

A current RN license to practice in North Carolina or a compact license is required. A working knowledge of MDS and Medicare regulations required. Clinical mds experience in a long term care setting including supervisory, administrative or consultative duties is preferred.
