Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees and monitors receipt, storage, order selecting and distribution of all product.
- Assess daily volume and assign labor accordingly
- Review order accuracy and quality daily to ensure excellent customer service.
- Maintains warehouse sanitation, health and safety standards following the guidelines of Feeding America, New York State and USDA.
- Assumes responsibly for food sanitation and safety audits through Feeding America, AIB, New York State, USDA and other regulating bodies.
- Ensures complete and accurate records are maintained on all products received and distributed.
- Consistently strives to increase the efficiency and costeffectiveness of product handling.
- Works with other departments to maximize the distribution of food and minimize waste.
- Maintain all Food Bank material handling equipment.
- Maintains adequate stock of all warehouse supplies.
- Hires and trains new staff as needed.
- Sets expectations for staff, monitor work performance, conduct supervisory meetings, and prepare performance appraisals.
- Promotes staff development through training and new work opportunities.
- Assists with solicitation of food and transportation donors.
- Maintains positive donor relations.
Pay:
From $60,000.00 per year

Education:
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Warehouse supervisor: 3 years (preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Latham, NY 12110: Relocate before starting work (required)
