The Support Specialist will provide administrative support and be the contact person for programs and/or projects as related to the business operations of the department(s).

The Support Specialist identifies, prioritizes and evaluates the administrative needs of the leadership team within their respective department including, but not limited to, scheduling and calendar management, budget support, coordinating travel and events, handling confidential correspondence, committee preparation, reporting and tracking information.

The Support Specialist is expected to deliver work that is timely and accurate, to maintain appropriate confidentiality, and to demonstrate excellent customer service skills as a key representative of the department.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • High school diploma/GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • 2 years' relevant experience required.
  • Experience in customer service, or healthcare environment preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point required. Database management knowledge preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce business correspondence and written documents, which exhibit appropriate grammar, spelling, punctuation and sentence structure.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with highly confidential information and handle sensitive matters, in a changing and fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to both work individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to attend/support afterhours meetings, as needed.
