    Description


    This role is in the engineering group but will also be a part of a customer oriented Business Development Group, this position is responsible for this job involves managing the procurement of molding and assembly tooling, estimating production times and costs, and leading tooling and material sampling activities.

    The role also includes participating in the Design of Experiments, conducting capability studies on new and existing tooling, and improving manufacturing methods to optimize processes and tool reliability.

    The ideal candidate should have technical expertise in mold/assembly optimization and be able to participate in APQP activities and project tooling-related meetings.

    Additionally, the job requires effective communication skills, the ability to work with mathematical concepts, and knowledge of general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

    The Tooling Engineering role also supports the QP Quality System to ensure compliance.
