Job Description

Summary: Seeking an R&D Mechanical Engineer with product design experience and proficiency in CAD for designing, developing, and testing new products for the Automotive Service Industry.

Requirements:

1-3 years of product design experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Proficiency with CAD (Creo preferred)
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:

Experience with mechanism design, machined metal parts, material selection, system integration
Patent experience
General knowledge of automobiles and their suspension systems

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test new products for the Automotive Service Industry
Achieve reliable function that satisfies project scope criteria through the selection of parts, materials, and manufacturing processes
Validate concepts through analysis and testing including design of test fixtures and special instrumentation where necessary
Design parts and assemblies consisting of sheet metal, weldments, machined parts, castings, plastics, sensors, and electronics
Collaborate with other functional groups to meet project deliverables.

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
