Mechanical Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team for the customization and design of new and existing product orders.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple equipment projects concurrently, with a primary focus on design activities. While this role is not a project management position, it offers ample opportunities for hands-on engineering involvement.

Responsibilities:
Customize and design new and existing product orders according to customer requirements.
Manage multiple equipment projects simultaneously, with a strong emphasis on design tasks.
Participate in new product development initiatives and tailor day-to-day activities to individual strengths.
Collaborate with the engineering team to implement design automation and drive process improvements.

Qualifications:

Must Haves:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2-4 years of experience, although open to more experience, more junior preferred
Strong technical curiosity and a desire to understand the underlying principles behind engineering decisions.

Nice to Have:
Hands-on mechanical hobbies or experience
Experience in machine design, preferably with electro-mechanical or industrial products.
Knowledge of metal fabrication, machining, and welding environments.
Proficiency in Solidworks or similar CAD software is beneficial.
