Position Pitch:
As a Production Specialist you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely production of transcripts and other legal documents.
You will be responsible for the technical aspects of transcript production, including formatting, proofreading, and quality control. This is a great entry level role to get your feet wet at one of the top court reporting and video deposition companies in the US, where you will be trained to be a top Production Specialist, with a chance to build a long careerRequirements:
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills with a great eye for detail.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
- Experienced within the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
- Must live 25 minutes within the office
Plus Skills:
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the court reporting or legal industry
Top Responsibilities:
Will be trained on all the following, no prior experience is needed**-
Transcript Production: Formatting and preparing transcripts of court proceedings, depositions, hearings, and other legal events.

Proofreading and Editing: Reviewing transcripts for accuracy, grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors. Production Specialists often play a crucial role in ensuring that transcripts are error-free and meet quality standards.

Technical Support: Providing technical support for court reporters and other staff members. This may involve troubleshooting software or hardware issues, ensuring proper functioning of recording equipment, and addressing any technical challenges that arise during the transcription process.

Quality Control: Implementing quality control measures to maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism in transcripts. This may involve conducting quality checks, verifying information, and addressing any discrepancies or inconsistencies.

Document Management: Organizing and managing transcripts, exhibits, and other documents generated during legal proceedings. This includes maintaining organized filing systems, tracking document revisions, and ensuring timely delivery of transcripts to clients.

$ $26.70 per hour
