Position Title:
Industrial Hygiene Technician


Reporting Relationship:
Operations Manager


Primary Function:
To complete assigned tasks/work in such ways as to fully satisfy our customers. Complete all jobs efficiently and safely in collaboration with the rest of the team.


Responsibilities:

• Train with senior team members to learn workflows and industrial hygiene practices.
• Undergo and implement safety training.
• Travel to customer work sites utilizing a company vehicle and utilize necessary equipment to record measurements and monitor job sites as appropriate.
• Complete training and obtain an Asbestos Building Inspector license as part of Companypaid continuing education program.
• Written and digital documentation is captured with superior accuracy.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and procedure manuals for specific equipment and systems used in construction or other hightech industries.
• Basic math skills required for observing and documenting accurate measurements.
• PA Asbestos Building Inspector License & OSHA Certifications a plus, not required.
• Ability to sit and stand throughout an 8hr shift
• Must be able to wear a respirator, pass fittest, and obtain medical clearance.
