Optical Lab Technician_

9:00am - 6:00pm Monday's - Friday

9:00am - 3:00pm Saturday


Responsibilities include:
*Perform all lab duties including but not limited to: ordering and receiving eyewear, edging lenses, final inspection and quality control, status updates and notifications and product dispensing. *Identify and work with basic optical laboratory equipment, tools, supplies, and materials *Consistently adhere deadlines for finishing jobs *Correctly read and interpret prescription specifications and input into computer properly to ensure lenses are cut properly *Maintain the lab area and equipment in a safe and organized manner *Perform daily, weekly and monthly lab equipment maintenance as scheduled and in accordance with lab/equipment manual specifications *Read, comprehend and follow technical manuals and protocols *Read and interpret prescription specifications *Periodically compare pricing among labs to ensure maximum net profit (protect the bottom line). *Use both lab and optical knowledge to develop problem-solving abilities that will allow for efficient and effective troubleshooting of patient complaints. *Understand and execute our values and policies to provide an excellent customer service and experience. *Ensure all supplies for the lab remain organized, easily accessible, and fully stocked.

Experience:

*Customer Service: 1 year (preferred) *optometry/ophthalmology: 1 year (preferred)

*Monday *Tuesday *Wednesday *Thursday *Friday *Saturday

We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $17.00/hour.
