Network Engineer at MetroSys

Are you passionate about designing and maintaining network solutions? Join our team at MetroSys as a Network Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our clients' network infrastructure is secure and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation:
- Plan and deploy network solutions using Cisco routers, Fortinet firewalls, and Aruba wireless systems.
- Configure network equipment to meet client requirements and standards.
- Ensure network scalability, security, and performance.
Network Management and Maintenance:
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure for optimal performance and reliability.
- Perform updates, patches, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Conduct regular performance analysis to address issues promptly.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce network security measures utilizing Fortinet firewalls.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client security policies.
- Conduct security assessments and audits regularly.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Create detailed documentation of network configurations and processes.
- Generate reports on network performance and issue resolutions.
Client Support and Training:
- Offer technical support to clients and troubleshoot network-related problems.
- Provide training sessions for clients' IT staff on network management.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of Cisco routers, Fortinet firewalls, and Aruba wireless systems.
Strong understanding of networking protocols, routing, and switching.
Experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with network security principles and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, NSE, ACMP are a plus.
