- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Manage F5/NetScaler load balancing, ensuring efficient and reliable distribution of network resources.
- Implement and support Cisco Security Products to safeguard our network from potential threats.
- Utilize automation tools to streamline and enhance network operations and processes.
- Support LAN/WAN networks in a large enterprise environment, diagnosing and resolving complex network issues quickly and effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of network topology, equipment, and configurations.
- Conduct regular network performance tests and monitor network logs to identify potential issues.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior network engineers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our network infrastructure remains current and competitive.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer in a large enterprise environment (10,000+ users), preferably in the medical or healthcare industry.
- Expertise in F5/NetScaler load balancing and knowledge of Cisco Security Products.
- Experience with automation tools and techniques (Ansible, Python, Puppet).
- Proven experience supporting LAN/WAN networks in large enterprise environments.
- Advanced knowledge of network protocols (BGP, OSPF), standards, and architectures.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCNA CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- A strong commitment to maintaining the highest levels of network security and integrity.
