Job Overview:
The primary function of this position is to plan, coordinate, and direct services that impacts the residents.

The individual must use facility and community resources to meet the social needs of the residents as identified by the residents' service plans.

As Medicaid Specialist, you are delegated administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability; therefore you must conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times, as you are a representative of Jackson Park Supportive Living


Duties:


New Residents:

• Meet with all new residents/ sign & collect documents
• Enter on all spreadsheets (Status report, Rent logs, etc.)

- complete SSI redetermination

• Contact Social Security

- change address and form of payment needed


Yardi Updates:

• Enter/Update/Verify new resident information in Yard
• Enter/Update census in Yardi
• Enter/Update income/allowance
• Enter/Update Medicaid Template/Medicaid payer
• Review Resident ledger
• Review monthly Move outs/ Submit MO write offs forms
• Submit check request for credits

Rent

• Set up ACH
• Collect rent & enter on all spreadsheets
• Deposit checks in scanner if applicable
• Complete AR report
• Set up Payment plan
• Complete IVD

Rep payee

• Confirm/Verify monthly transfer per excel spreadsheets
• Notify the Corporate office for refunds to Social Security

Trust

• Distribute trust
• Reconcile trust monthly with bank statement
• Enter all deposits/withdrawals in trust log

Medicaid

• Enter all Admits/ DC/ Income changes/ Insurance changes Medicaid
• Complete snap interviews
• Set up accounts in ABE
• Request conversion screenings
• Complete redetermination
• File Appeals when necessary
• Request authorization for MCO's

Pay:
From $50,000.00 per hour
