_SUPERINTENDENT_

SUMMARY:
Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and supervising the quality of all work performed by Bonness Inc. Responsible for multiple jobs' profitability, on-time scheduling, and general success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
-
Supervision & Development:

Supervise Foremen to ensure that jobs are built within budget, schedule, and specifications
Develop, motivate, discipline, and direct Foremen and Labor to ensure an efficient and effective operation
Coordinate training and/or train Foremen in the proper use and operation of equipment
Schedule and coordinate labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment for jobs
Ensure that work is performed as scheduled
Inspect all final products and communicate the results to Foremen
Timely and accurate completion of all administrative paperwork

Job Costing:

Supply Foremen with the proper plans, scope of work, and estimated costs on the job; review the job prior to job start.
Ensure that Foremen maintain accurate timekeeping records for both their crews and equipment
Minimize overtime by setting challenging but realistic goals, daily and weekly, for the Superintendents and Foremen
Review job cost reports weekly with Superintendents and Foremen to provide feedback and set expectations
Recommend foreseen change orders to the owner or general contractor as early as possible

Customer Service:

Establish and maintain open lines of communication with all customers
Handle customer inquiries or complaints regarding scheduling or work quality

Safety:

Ensure that a safe work environment is maintained in accordance with company Safety Policies
Report all safety violations and accidents to Supervisor and Safety Director immediately
Fill out Accident Investigation reports
Responsible for daily maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment that will be used by your crews
Responsible for the proper MOT on jobsites

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma
Five to ten years' experience in road constructions

- **Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans

- Ability to coordinate and run meetings with contractors and developers

Leadership skills
Valid Driver's License
