Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching both in our formal didactic lecture program as well as in the informal teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows rotating through the cardiothoracic operating rooms and procedural areas.
Clinical responsibilities may include direct patient care and medical direction in the cardiothoracic operating rooms and procedural area. Primary practice is located at the Philadelphia campus of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
In addition to excellence in teaching and clinical care, responsibilities include investigator-initiated and collaborative research. The non-tenure clinician educator track involves a substantial commitment to research.
Evidence of continuous scholarly productivity reflecting a defined focus and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows in their own scholarly pursuits will be required.
