    Financial Analyst, Manufacturing - Remote (East Coast- Albany, NY or Burlington, MA preferred)

    Curia provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

    The Financial Analyst is a key member of the Manufacturing Business Unit.

    This opportunity will not only have exposure to Business Unit leadership, but cross-functional leadership such as Site Leadership, Corporate Finance, and Commercial Finance.


    This role can be remote (East Coast) with preference for candidates to be located near our East Coast manufacturing sites in the Greater Boston Area (Burlington, MA) or Eastern Upstate New York (Albany, NY) to allow for in-office work opportunities when beneficial.

    Candidates must be comfortable spending most of their time using and utilizing programs in Excel and the ability and willingness to develop to an advanced user level.

    Responsibilities


    • Support the Manufacturing Business Unit financial reporting process to provide business unit and corporate senior leadership with timely reports on results and related business insights
    • Support and/or ownership of the preparation, consolidation, review and provides analysis for monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting including key product trends and customer and product revenue and profitability
    • Collect and organize financial information and inputs to financial models such as the annual budget and business unit forecasts
    • Enhance reporting, tracking, and analysis of global business unit HQ SG&A spend and headcount; partnering with cross functional team to manage and control spend levels
    • Continuously evaluate existing procedures and systems to find opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency
    • Provides ad-hoc financial analysis and project support as assigned
    Qualifications


    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 0-3 years experience performing financial and variance analysis, forecasting, planning, and financial modeling
    Skills


    • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
    • Ability to stay organized, efficient, analytical, and attention to detail
    • Strong interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal)
    • Excellent team player with the ability to work with global finance teams (US/EU/Asia) and other cross functional departments

    Pay Range:
    $61,000-$76,000/year

    Education, experience, location and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
