Position Summary:

Salary & Compensation:

Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. Qualifications:

  • IT Management Experience Minimum of 5 years of IT management experience. (required)
  • Supervision Experience in supervising staff, setting goals, monitoring performance, and conducting performance evaluations. (required)
  • Communication Experience in presenting complex technical information publicly to both technical and nontechnical audiences. (required)
  • Development Languages Working knowledge of relevant web and mobile development languages and technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CSS preprocessors, C#.NET, Razor, JavaScript frameworks) and best practices. (preferred)
  • Campus Enterprise Systems Working knowledge of campus enterprise systems and services that Anderson systems tie into. (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to connect the strategic business goals of the school with ACIS strategic planning to ensure alignment. (required)
  • Ability to align business objectives with strategic spending to identify opportunities for costeffective investment of resources. (required)
  • Ability to manage a complex workload, supervising technical support staff and technical managers in a complex computing environment. (required)
  • Ability to conduct effective interviews with clients to ascertain technology needs. Ability to analyze and determine information and systems requirements of business units and clients. (required)
  • Ability to prepare documents that are clearly written, well organized, well structured, accurate, complete, cover all relevant issues and are professional in appearance. (required)
  • Ability to write job descriptions, conduct interviews and hire appropriate staff to meet the goals of ACIS and Anderson. (required)
  • Ability to use appropriate judgment in determining what information should be shared with coworkers. (required)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in standard English, both written and verbally, to share information with coworkers and users and to explain policies and procedures in a clear and concise manner. (required)
  • Ability to respond to problems quickly, accurately, independently, and with adequate followup and follow through on assignments and to see projects and tasks to a successful conclusion. (required)

Education, Licenses, Certifications, & Professional Affiliations:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
