We are seeking a School-Based Social Worker (MSW) to support elementary school students in Dutchess County NY This full-time role is ideal for clinicians who want a predictable school schedule manageable caseloads and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through prevention early intervention and counseling services This position offers strong clinical supervision training toward licensure and long-term professional growth in a supportive mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities Provide substance abuse and violence prevention and intervention services Conduct screenings assessments intakes and referrals Deliver individual and small group counseling using evidence-based approaches Facilitate classroom-based educational sessions Provide crisis intervention as needed Lead parent and faculty workshops Collaborate with school staff families and clinical teams Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Population Served Elementary school students K-8 Presenting concerns include social anxiety academic challenges emotional regulation early mental health concerns experimentation with alcohol or substances
