Sterling Engineering is a growing engineering and staffing services firm that specializes in placing top talent in the U.S and in Ireland. We are working with a manufacturing company in the North Suburbs on bringing in a senior level Mechanical Engineer to be a subject-matter expert and be the "go-to" engineer at the firm.

Overview:

Analyze product specifications and customer requirements to ensure alignment with design objectives.
Ensure adherence to internal and external standards, including national and international regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and application departments, to facilitate communication and streamline processes.
Develop detailed welding and machining drawings and assemble ASME job packets to guide manufacturing processes.
Compile accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) to facilitate procurement and production planning.

What Is Needed?

Bachelors in Engineering
At least 5 years of engineering experience
At least 1-2 years of experience doing engineering projects involving valves
Able to be on-site M-F
