We are adding a Credit Assistant to our Team This is an onsite position located at: 634 Stanton Christiana Rd Newark, DE Come work with us
Under direct supervision, provides support to the credit department by performing the following duties:

Responsibilities:

Keeps record of credit transactions, deposits, and payments. Collects pastdue funds and accepts payment on accounts.
Performs account reconciliation by adjusting incorrect credit charges and grants extensions of credit on overdue accounts, per predetermined guidelines. Makes necessary adjustments to system to reflect receivables decisions.
Contacts credit bureaus, employers, and personal references to check credit and personal references.
Assists in establishing credit limit, considering such factors as applicant's assets, credit experience, and personal references, based on predetermined standards.
Provides customer credit information or rating on request to businesses, credit agencies, or banks.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
