    SEEKING BUSINESS AVIATION OPERATIONS MANAGER – TUSCALOOSA, AL

    Hawthorne Global Aviation Services is fixed base operator in the general aviation industry. We have eleven locations and growing: Atlanta, GA (KRYY), Chicago, IL (KPWK), Big Sky, MT (KEKS), West Yellowstone, MT, (KWYS) Long Island, NY (KISP), Cody, WY (KCOD), Eau Claire, WI (KEAU), Hamilton, MT (KHRF), Sioux City, IA (KSUX), Tuscaloosa, AL (KTCL), Sarasota, FL (KSRQ) and Scranton PA (KAVP).     We are seeking an accomplished Operations Manager for our Atlanta, GA facility. Prior fixed base operator experience is a plus but solid general management or operations management experience with business-to-business service organizations will be strongly considered.

    Compensation and benefits are competitive.

    To be successful in this role you should be:

    • Operationally oriented and have worked in an industry with strong standard operating procedures and a safety culture.
    • Hands on operational leader who is experience in field operations.
    • Action oriented, leader who is also a team player.
    • Accomplished in developing a successful and cohesive workforce.

    Position Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations manager role (business to business).
    • Ability to thrive in an environment with strong standard operating principles and a customer centric and safety-first culture.
    • Track record of engaging and retaining talent.
    • Excellent planning and skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills: employees, customers, and partners.
