    Description

    The Opportunity:
    Our client is a well-established manufacturer in firearms and defense technology. We have partnered with them in their search for a Director of Quality based in Hartford, Connecticut.

    What You'll Be Doing:
    Ensure that products meet quality, integrity and functionality requirements as well as other specifications
    Create and own the product quality documentation system utilizing quality assurance procedures
    Communicate with product divisions and management teams
    Achieve financial objectives by preparing and managing the quality assurance budget in collaboration with management
    Report on quality control and operations to the senior leadership team and regulatory agencies
    Solve problems and adapt to challenges on the production floor

    What You'll Need to Be Successful:
    Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant experience in industrial or mechanical fields
    5+ years of experience as a quality engineer or in a similar role, ideally 8+ years of experience in engineering
    Deep understanding of manufacturing and production processes, as well as quality control standards and methodologies
    Excellent communication, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
