Description
The Yard Operative will be responsible for maintaining the yard and entire facility.

In addition, operator will maintain a safe work environment and be required to follow and be held accountable to company guidelines for safe equipment operation.

Finally, through a thorough understanding of Copart policy, the Equipment Operator will facilitate The Vantage Truck Parking experience by offering solutions to meet customer's needs.

Operator will assist manager in all yard function, customer service, cleanliness, and maintenance.

  • Ensures equipment is maintained according to company standards
  • Operates company equipment safely
  • Assists with the maintenance of company equipment and vehicles
  • Verifies authorized access for all vehicles entering the lot
  • Takes payments in accordance with company guidelines and procedures
  • Ensures that security measures are in place and functional
  • Monitors and enforces yard rules
  • Routinely removes trash and debris from the lot
  • Positive attitude/High Integrity.
  • Must be able to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Occasional O.T. as needed.
  • Provides excellent service to customers as needed
  • Maintains a positive and professional demeanor
  • Follows yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment (i.e. speed limits, etc.).
  • Must be able to perform basic computer skills
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • HS diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment.
  • One year of loader or forklift experience, certification preferred.
  • Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
