Location
We are seeking a full-time, 36-hour Patient Services Representative to support our Physiatry team onsite Monday through Friday.

Seacoast Physiatry outpatient center is located in our state-of-the-art facility at Wentworth Douglass Hospital's Pease Campus at 67 Corporate Drive, Portsmouth, NH 03801.

This practice specializes in the non-surgical treatment and diagnosis of conditions of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.

Our skilled providers and specialists take a comprehensive and thoughtful approach to diagnosis and then develop a treatment plan tailored to each patient.

  • Joint, tendon and ligament injuries

Hours
The ideal schedule for this position is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30am-4:00pm, and Wednesday 7:30am-11:30am.


Role Overview
Our Patient Service Representatives play an integral part in the operations of our community-based physician practices.

Dedicated to administrative support, these Representatives serve as the gatekeepers of our practices and ensure that teams are delivering the highest quality experience that exceeds our patients' expectations.


  • We are looking for wellrounded customer service professionals who can multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a highvolume outpatient setting
  • During the patient's visit, the focus is checkin, which includes greeting patients, answering all of their questions, collecting copayments, and assisting with any previsit paperwork/forms.
  • At the conclusion of the visit, during checkout, Patient Service Representatives are tasked with the completion of forms and scheduling followup appointments, tests, and/or procedures.
  • Other duties include fielding all incoming telephone calls and triaging appropriately, performing referral/diagnostic/lab orders processing duties, monitoring patient flow and waiting room activity, and providing general support to practice leadership, clinicians, and peers.

Qualifications:


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year clerical/office/customer service or other related experience required, preferably in a medical office setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Strong computer skills preferred.
