Water Gap Wellness a new 24 room hotel/inn with full amenities and on a great location.

  • Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
  • Responsibilities include:
  • Maintains cleanliness of all living and common areas, furniture, appliances, windows, floors
  • Dusts and cleans all rooms and offices
  • Clean and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
  • Utilizes a variety of housekeeping equipment and moves, stocks, and replenishes supplies
  • Replenishes supplies and empties trash
  • Works directly with cleaning supplies soaps, chemicals, waxes and the use of various machines/equipment
  • Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.
  • Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent customer service skills and work ethic.

This position requires the following abilities:

  • balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, tactile sense, repetitive motions, seeing, hearing, talking, and visual acuity.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Display positive attitude and great communication skills
  • Perform other duties assigned and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1year experience in housekeeping preferred
  • 18 years or older
  • Valid driver's license

JOB RESPONSBILITIES
Maintains cleanliness of all living and common areas, furniture, appliances, windows and floors.

Replace bedding when clients discharge

Dusts and cleans all blinds in assigned house and offices.

Replenishes supplies and empties trash.

Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks

Utilizes a variety of housekeeping equipment and moves, stocks and replenishes supplies.

  • Excellent customer service skills and work ethic.
  • Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational.
  • Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to stand for long periods.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILL OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Basic computer knowledge.

Works directly with cleaning using soaps, chemicals, waxes and the use of various machines/equipment.


WORK ENVIROMENT AND HAZARDS
Risk of exposure to communicable disease. Possible exposure to intoxicated, disruptive and agitated patients. Protected from weather conditions.


SPECIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Lifting up to 50 lbs. With frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs. A significant degree of walking and standing. Reaching, handling, and manual dexterity required. Communication is required.
