For our senior care facility, Penningskamp GmbH, located in Berry Hill, TN, we are currently seeking a part-time (30 hours per week) caregiver according to - 43 b SGB XI (m/f/d).


Your responsibilities:

  • Providing care and activation measures to promote the physical and mental wellbeing of our residents
  • Actively shaping the daily routine of residents through individual and group activities such as painting, crafting, light gardening, card games, music, relaxation sessions, and snoezelen
  • Ensuring the evening household care of residents
  • Promoting mental and physical mobility through memory training, exercise, and group dancing
  • Contributing to the planning, preparation, and execution of events and celebrations, bazaars, seasonal decorations, outings, themed days, and special activities such as Christmas plays
  • Most importantly: feeling comfortable and having the desire to support the team in the long term

Your qualifications:

  • Completed qualification as a caregiver according to 43b SGB XI (formerly 87b)
  • Previous experience in caregiving in a nursing facility is desirable
  • Sociability, patience, and empathy in dealing with people who require assistance
  • Excellent German language skills
