Position Title:
Full-time


Reports To:
Physician and Office Manager

Education Required:
Medical Assistant Certification preferred, but not required


Primary Responsibilities:
1)

Medical assistant tasks:

Phone communication, EMR documentation, performing tests on patients (allergy skin tests, breathing tests, to be learned on the job), office cleaning and organization, giving shots, and other patient care and office duties.

2)

Front desk tasks:

Answering phones, booking and rescheduling appointments, phone triage, checking patients in and out, scanning documents, inputting patient information into the EMR and other office duties.


Skills Required:
Strong typing skills and excellent attention to detail. Punctual, organized, and time-efficient, working quickly and anticipating needs for the day. Excellent computer skills are important using the EMR. History of open communication and great relationships with physicians, supervisors, and staff. Show excellent customer service and kindness with patients and their families. Cheerful personality and pleasant manner. Pay scale is dependent on level of experience.

Experience:
Previous medical assistant experience and bilingual skills are helpful but not necessary.
