    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in SQL, Snowflake, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SFTP, and encryption technologies. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing our data infrastructure, ensuring efficient and secure data processing, integration, and reporting.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Database Design and Management:

    • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, and secure SQL databases using Snowflake and SQL Server.
    • Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity, reliability, and availability.
    ETL and Data Integration:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to integrate data from various sources into the organization's data systems.
    • Ensure smooth and reliable data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.
    Reporting and Analysis:
    • Design and develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for stakeholders to analyze and visualize data effectively.
    • Collaborate with business analysts to understand reporting requirements and provide insights from the data.
    Data Security and Compliance:
    • Implement and manage encryption mechanisms to ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
    • Monitor and assess the data infrastructure for vulnerabilities and implement necessary security measures.
    SFTP Integration:
    • Develop and maintain processes to securely transfer data using SFTP protocols, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality during transfers.
    Collaboration and Documentation:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define data models, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
    • Document technical designs, architecture, processes, and procedures for reference and future improvements.
    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

    Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or related role, focusing on SQL, Snowflake, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SFTP, and encryption.
    • Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database design.
    • Experience working with Snowflake, SQL Server, and other related database technologies.
    • Proficiency in SSRS for report generation and data visualization.
    • Expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL processes and data integration.
    • Experience in integrating SFTP protocols and implementing encryption mechanisms.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
