Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):
$ $ $80.540


The stated pay scale reflects the range as defined by the collective bargaining agreement between Sharp HealthCare and Sharp Professional Nurses Network, United Nurses Associations of California/Union of Health Care Professionals, NUHHCE, AFSME, AFL-CIO.

Placement within the range is based on years of RN experience.


What You Will Do


As experienced RNs who are new to acute care and progressive care, you will participate in an 8 week - Transition in Practice orientation program that will provide nursing skills lab/simulation and a mentorship process to enhance your nursing competencies and advance your career.

Hours (Specific to Hospitals/Open Positions)
Full-time; 12-hour shift; Day Shift and Night Shift; including every other weekend


Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of nursing school.
  • 1 Year clinical experience (RNs with less than 12 months experience will complete the new grad requirements).
  • California Registered Nurse (RN)
  • CA Board of Registered Nursing REQUIRED
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare)
  • American Heart Association REQUIRED

Applications for our June 2024 Transition in Practice 8 Week Training Program will be accepted on the following dates:

Monday, April 29th, at 5pm PST, through Monday, May 13th, at 5pm PST.

Start dates for these programs are June 5th, 2024 for new hires and June 9th, for transfers.

Purpose of Unit_: 2N is a semi-private unit with overflow progressive care patients. We see a variety of diagnosis. We are the innovations unit with outside the box thinking. 2S/1S are ICU Step-Down units serving higher acuity patients. Types of patients can include but not limited to sepsis chronic respiratory failure. Mechanical ventilation titratable drips etc
