Description

The Sun Court in Untermerzbach is a social therapeutic community for adults with disabilities. Our areas of work include agriculture and gardening, grazing animals, grassland, vegetable cultivation, fruit, and landscape maintenance.

We are currently looking for a full-time gardener (m/f/d) to join our team.

Experience is also possible for career changers.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and supporting a work group of people with disabilities
  • Planning and designing garden areas
  • Maintaining flower beds, lawns, and shrubs
  • Performing tree pruning and shaping
  • Monitoring and maintaining irrigation systems
  • Maintaining the grounds and caring for trees and shrubs
  • Maintaining and servicing garden tools and equipment

Desired Profile:

  • Completed training as a gardener or a comparable qualification
  • Thorough knowledge of organic plant care and cultivation
  • Experience in garden planning
  • Good knowledge of plant species and their care needs
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility
  • Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
  • Enjoy working with people
