DELIVERY DRIVER - Meals on Wheels Program - Suffolk County

20 hrs./week Monday - Friday 10 am to 2 pm

CCLI is looking for a _
Part-time Delivery Driver_ with a generous heart and a desire to contribute to the well-being of others to carry out our mission on Long Island.

Responsibilities:_

Ø Review daily routing sheets to confirm accurate and complete meal deliveries as assigned.

Ø Pick up meals from caterer or other centralized sites, checking temperature of meals to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance.

Ø Record meal pickup and delivery times, mileage and other relevant information.

Ø Complete general office clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications;_

Ø HS Diploma/GED.

Ø At least 2 years' local delivery driving experience that includes knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.

Ø Bilingual capability - Spanish/English preferred.

Ø Valid NYS Driver's License.

Ø Well-developed communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills required.

Ø Solid knowledge of main and secondary routes within Suffolk County. Ability to read maps and adjust to changing routes. GPS provided.

Ø Must be able to bend, lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Ø Ability and willingness to drive agency vans and cars in all types of weather conditions.
