The Berlin Police - Central Service Directorate for Information and Communication Technology is looking for a Technical Principal Clerk for ICT Power Supply (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible, permanent, full-time with 39.4 hours per week (part-time employment is possible if necessary), at Friesenstraße 16, 10965 Berlin.

The Mobility Workshop checks, maintains and repairs the electrical systems in the vehicles that supply the built-in information and communication technology in the police vehicles. Modern IT technology is installed in the police vehicles and the workshop ensures the proper operation of the 230 V power supply, inverters and charging technology for the auxiliary batteries in the vehicles.

Your duties include the technical management of the Mobility Workshop and the role of the responsible electrical specialist for this area.

In the team of the Mobility Workshop, five employees work, for whom you take on the technical leadership.

  • Your area of responsibility includes the electrical safety of the electrical systems installed in the vehicles of the Berlin Police.
  • You carry out risk assessments and safety briefings for the Mobility Workshop.
  • As the technical manager of the Mobility Workshop, you organize the daily service operations, prioritize tasks and assign work.
