    This exciting position is for a Quality Assurance Engineer III to be a part of an Agile test team with responsibilities to work on multiple products, such as web-based applications, maps, APIs, visualization tools, and backend services in support of our mission critical worldwide weather data platform.

    Testing, both manual and automated, is a core responsibility but with heavy emphasis on driving automation efforts for the QA team.

    The Quality Assurance Engineer will provide testing support for all software application tiers including front-end, middle-tier, and backend data services.


    Job Responsibilities:


    Design test strategies, plans, and cases for testing across different platforms (mobile, IoT, cloud, Web UI, APIs), with an emphasis on automation.

    Define and implement test suites using software testing tools such as Postman, JMeter,

    TestComplete/Selenium/WebDriver,

    Load Ninja, and OWASP ZAP.
    Implementing and execute functional, performance, load, and security tests.
    Author test cases, hold reviews, and communicate progress and results to stakeholders.
    Contribute to best practices for Agile and DevOps test strategies.
    Participation in agile ceremonies such as daily scrum meetings, story planning, and sprint reviews etc.
    Be an active, collaborative team player that contributes to all areas of QA (testing, document user cases, track metrics, refine backlog)

    Requirements:


    6+ years testing, of which at least 3 years spent developing and executing automated and performance tests in an Agile environment.

    High level of energy, determination, thoroughness, and commitment to the team's mission in a productive and fast paced work environment.

    Previously worked in an Agile, DevOps and continuous delivery CI/CD pipeline
    Have tested AWS and/or Azure in a mixed Windows and Linux environment in both web and mobile technologies.
    Expertise in test planning, documentation, defining and executing functional and performance tests for Web UI, Mobile, and backend APIs.
    Have developed test cases & scripts in JavaScript, TypeScript, and hands on experience with

    Selenium/WebDriver/TestComplete

    for UI test automation.
    Knowledge and/or experience with UI/API

    functional/performance

    test tools such as Postman, JMeter, TestComplete, Load Ninja, and/or OEASP Zap.
    Proficient in SQL, relational database, and non-structured persistent data store concepts (MySQL, NoSQL).
    Experience in AWS Services such as S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, EC2, etc is preferred.
    Extensive knowledge of Test and Project Management Tools like TestRail, Jira etc.
    Exposure to security testing and scanning is preferred.
    Proficient in monitoring server resources and application resources.
    Must have strong communication and customer support skills.
    Able to be self-directed and work independently.
    BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field

    Additional Information :
    This is a remote opportunity that can be done from anywhere in the continental United States and/or Canada
    Must be eligible to work in the U.S. or Canada without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization.

    F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered.

    H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position.

    US Compensation Range:
    A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 USD per year. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.

    AEM considers a wide range of factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education, licensure and certifications, key skills as well as other market and business considerations when extending an offer.

    The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
