Description
Precious Elders Home Care Agency is seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team in providing high-quality care to our clients in the South Bay.
As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing personal care, companionship, and support to our clients in their homes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Providing medication reminders
- Preparing and serving meals according to the client's dietary needs and preferences
- Performing light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying up
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Providing clients transportation to medical appointments and social activities
- Adhering to infection control and safety guidelines
- Maintaining client confidentiality and respecting their privacy and dignity
Requirements:
- Must have a TB clearance
- Must have proof of covid vaccination
- Ability to pass a background check, DMV check, and drug screening
- Must be registered on the Home Care Aide Registry
- At least three years of experience as a caregiver, preferably in a home care setting
- ID compliant with I9 requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Two caregiving references
- High school diploma or equivalent

$ $22.00 per hour
