We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Mechanic with expertise in automotive repair and maintenance. This contract position involves diagnosing, repairing, and servicing various types of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and diagnose vehicle problems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair or replace faulty parts and systems, including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain repairs and provide estimates.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a general mechanic, specifically with cars.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
