Duties/Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates and abides by the Company Core Values and the operating principles
- Directs and plans for the Residential Living Department's needs. Manages the activities of the Residential Department with supervisors and other staff to ensure that students needs are met.
- Conducts regular staff meetings and employee training sessions.
- Prepares reports, budgets and objectives for the Residential Living Department.
- Insures that order and discipline are maintained in dormitories, while promoting selfdiscipline and an awareness of others.
- Insures orderly and cleanliving conditions.
- Work closely with Recreation Manager, Counseling Manager, and Student Governance to plan on center activities and support student retention.
- Work closely with SGA Advisor and support student leadership on center.
- Attends required staff training sessions including PRH required and professional trainings.
- Make sure all students evaluations are conducted in a timely manner with case notes and required documentations.
- Facilitates prompt and appropriate assistance to students in the event of injury, illness, emotional trauma, arrest, trouble at home and other traumatic experiences.
- All staff time card/pay roll verified and approved, turn to finance on time with all required documents.
- Responsible for insuring that departmental equal employment and affirmative action goals and objectives are met
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum:
Bachelor's degree in a work-related area. Three years' work related experience. Supervisory experience required.
Preferred:
Master's Degree**
Knowledge:Ability to effectively communicate with and relate to disadvantaged youth. Must be able to obtain a State driver's license. Must obtain and maintain CPR/FA certification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students. Strong management skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities.
Pay:
$65, $75,000.00 per year
